A Journey of Faith, Freedom, and Finding My Way Home

This album is a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n' roll, and a whole lotta heart!

Daddy's Girl was born somewhere in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas. There's something about finding yourself in a new city, surrounded by the wide-open spaces of a state as big as Texas, that makes you reflect on just how far you've traveled, not just in miles, but in life.

As I wandered through Fort Worth, I found myself thinking about the little girl I once was, the woman I've become, and the person I'm still becoming. And somewhere between the Texas sunshine, a little country twang, and a whole lot of soul-searching, this album began to take shape.

I grew up with deep Christian roots, but like many people, my relationship with religion hasn't always been simple. My faith was often tangled in the expectations, judgments, and interpretations of others. There were rules to follow, questions you weren't supposed to ask, and versions of yourself that didn't always fit neatly into what others believed a woman of faith should be.

But here's what I've learned along the way: Sometimes finding your way back to God means finding the courage to walk away from everything people told you God was supposed to be.

And through it all, my faith never really left me. It evolved, it stretched, it challenged me, and sometimes it asked me to unlearn things I once believed with absolute certainty. But somehow, it always led me back to love, grace, and a deeper understanding of who I am.

Daddy's Girl is a musical journey through the beautiful, messy intersection of rigid Christianity and radical self-reclamation. It's about honoring where I come from without allowing my past to dictate where I'm going. It's about questioning without abandoning faith, embracing my imperfections without shame, and discovering that the divine was never asking me to become someone else.

There's a little country, a little gospel, some rock 'n' roll rebellion, and a whole lot of heart woven into these songs.

Because maybe growing up in faith isn't about following every rule you were handed. Maybe it's about learning to recognize the difference between the voice of God and the voices of people who claimed to speak for Him.

And maybe, just maybe, being Daddy's Girl was never about being the perfect daughter.

It was about discovering that I was loved all along. ❤️

Queen of Ash and Bone is a little love letter to my inner dragon queen, my fascination with Game of Thrones, my ongoing (and sometimes hilariously humbling) quest to learn High Valyrian, and, most importantly, the man who has become my sun and moon.

What began as a creative adventure into an ancient fictional language became something far more personal. Inspired by the epic storytelling, fierce women, dragons, and complicated beauty of Game of Thrones, I began imagining a world of my own, one where love and loss, fire and fury, survival and transformation intertwine.

This concept album tells stories of rising from the ashes, reclaiming one's power, honoring the battles that shaped us, and discovering that even the fiercest warriors have hearts capable of extraordinary love.

And while there is plenty of dragon fire, a little darkness, and perhaps a few imperfect attempts at High Valyrian (I'm still learning, after all!), beneath the fantasy lives something very real: a celebration of resilience, devotion, and the kind of love that makes even the most battle-worn soul feel safe enough to lay down her armor.

To my husband, Nico: This album is dedicated to you. Thank you for loving every version of me, the warrior, the dreamer, the woman who has walked through fire, and the little girl who still believes in magic. Thank you for reminding me that strength and tenderness can coexist, and that even a dragon queen needs a place to call home.

Thank you for being my sun and moon. ❤️🐉

Valar Morghulis. Valar Dohaeris.

But above all, love endures.

A Holiday with Dr. Jai

I’m an 80s kid at heart, and this Christmas album is a little love letter to everything that made the holidays feel so magical growing up! Think nostalgic claymation Christmas specials, a little 80s musical flair, a whole lot of imagination, and just enough whimsy to make your inner child smile.

I’m an 80s kid at heart, and this Christmas album is a little love letter to everything that made the holidays feel so magical growing up! Think nostalgic claymation Christmas specials, a little 80s musical flair, a whole lot of imagination, and just enough whimsy to make your inner child smile.

But this album is also about something close to my heart: seeing familiar stories through wonderfully different eyes. What happens when we reimagine Christmas from unexpected perspectives, give a voice to characters whose stories haven't been told, and celebrate the many beautiful ways people experience the magic of the season?

After all, I've always believed the world shines a little brighter when we stop seeing our differences as something that makes someone the "other" and start recognizing them as the colorful threads that make up the beautiful tapestry of life.

So, whether you grew up on Rudolph and stop-motion magic, love a good throwback tune, or simply believe there's room for everyone at the holiday table, I hope this album brings you a little nostalgia, a few giggles, some unexpected perspectives, and a whole lot of heart.

Because magic isn't about everyone being the same. It's about discovering how beautiful the world can be when we all belong. ❤️🎄
