At Pathway to Empowerment with Jai, I help people—especially Women of Color—feel safe, seen, and strong again. My goal is to create a space where people who’ve been treated unfairly can find healing, speak their truth, and remember how powerful they really are. I use a special kind of coaching and gentle mind-body work that respects your whole self—your thoughts, feelings, body, spirit, and culture. Everyone deserves a chance to grow, feel better, and be heard. That’s where real strength and change begins.

Sometimes life can feel confusing, overwhelming, or just plain hard. With so many things pulling at our attention and old hurts we’ve carried for years, it’s easy to forget who we are, what we need, or what really matters. That’s where I come in—not to fix you, but to help guide you back to yourself.


I call my work “Your Personal GPS for Your Mind.” It’s not just a fun name—it’s a gentle and caring way I help people find their way again. Just like a GPS helps you when you take a wrong turn, I help you figure out the next best step, no matter where you’re starting from.


My work is especially for women who’ve been left out, overlooked, or treated unfairly—but everyone is welcome here. Whether you’re feeling anxious, sad, unsure of yourself, or just want to feel more like you again, we’ll work together to help you feel safe, strong, and clear.

Here’s how I help:


  • I use calming techniques (called hypnotherapy) to help quiet the noise in your head and find the root of what’s bothering you.
     
  • I help you connect with your younger self—the part of you that still needs love, safety, and kindness.
     
  • I coach with care, not pressure. I don’t believe in “fixing” people—I believe in helping you remember your power.
     
  • I respect who you are. Your culture, story, and past all matter—and they’re all part of your healing.

How It Works (In Simple Terms)

First, we figure out where you want to go. Maybe you want to feel more confident. Maybe you want peace, answers, or to stop feeling stuck. We’ll talk about what you really need—not just what sounds nice, but what your heart is truly asking for.


Next, we look at the old "maps" you’ve been using. These are things like habits, beliefs, or stories you were taught that may have helped you in the past—but aren’t helping you anymore.


Then, we update your directions. With gentle techniques like calming your mind and caring for your younger self, we help you build new, healthy ways of thinking and living—ones that match who you really are and who you’re becoming.


If you take a wrong turn, there’s no shame. We all get off track sometimes. This process doesn’t blame you—it simply helps you find your way back, kindly and clearly.


In the end, you take back your power. You’ll leave with tools and ideas that belong to you, not ones handed down by people or systems that didn’t always support you. You’ll learn how to lead your life in a way that feels strong, honest, and true to you.

We always start by helping you relax. We might take some deep breaths or imagine a peaceful place together. This helps your mind slow down so you can really tune in to yourself.

This is a safe space to talk about what’s been heavy on your heart—whether it’s something that happened, a feeling you can’t shake, or something passed down from family. There’s no judgment here—just care and understanding. Together, we look at what’s really going on underneath the pain.

My coaching is based on something I call the 7 E’s, which are seven powerful steps we’ll walk through together to help you feel more confident, peaceful, and connected to who you really are.

Each step is part of a journey to help you grow, heal, and discover what’s possible for your life.


1. Engage – Connect with Your Whole Self

We start by paying attention to your thoughts, your body, and your spirit. When all three are working together, you feel more balanced and ready to grow.


2. Encourage – Believe in Yourself

Change can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll be here to cheer you on and help you believe in your ability to grow and create the life you want.


3. Empathize – Feel Understood

You deserve to be heard and truly understood. In our time together, I’ll listen without judgment and create a safe space where you can be honest about your feelings and experiences.


4. Empower – Use Tools That Work for You

I’ll share tools and ideas that fit your life, so you can handle challenges, speak up for yourself, and make decisions that feel right for you.

What is it?

Answer: My coaching is a special kind of support that helps you feel calm, focused, and safe so you can better understand yourself.


It’s kind of like when you’re daydreaming—you’re not asleep, but your mind is quiet, and you can really tune in. In this relaxed state, we take time to gently look at what’s going on inside you.

You’ll discover the strong, wise parts of yourself—and even connect with the younger you who still needs care, kindness, and attention.


This is where real change starts. When you feel safe enough to explore your feelings and choices, you can begin to let go of what’s holding you back and take steps toward becoming the person you want to be.

We do all of this together, in a way that’s gentle, supportive, and all about helping you feel stronger, more in control, and more like yourself again.

 How Does it Work?

Answer: With the help of a caring coach (that’s me!), you’ll relax and feel safe enough to notice thoughts, feelings, or memories that might be hiding underneath the surface.


Sometimes, these things can explain why we feel stuck, sad, or unsure of ourselves. By understanding them, you can start to feel better, make different choices, and begin to heal from things that have hurt you.


It’s kind of like shining a light into a dark room—not to be scared, but to see clearly and make space for something new. You don’t have to do it alone. I’ll guide you every step of the way. 

Can Anyone Participate?

Answer: Almost anyone can try this, and it can really help if you’re open to giving it a chance.


You don’t have to be perfect or have it all figured out—you just have to be willing to show up and try.


This is something we do together, and how much it helps depends on how ready you are to explore, share, and take little steps forward.

If you’re open and curious, there’s a good chance you’ll discover something really meaningful.

 If The Process is Like Being in a Dream, Does that Mean I'm Asleep?

Answer: Some people think that being really relaxed means you’re asleep or not in control—but that’s not true at all.


When we do Inner Child and Empowerment work, you are in charge the whole time. You’re awake, aware, and always in control of what you think, feel, or say.


Using your imagination is something you choose to do. Nobody can make you see, say, or do anything that doesn’t feel right to you. This kind of work is all about you feeling safe, strong, and supported as you explore what’s inside.

 Is it Safe?

Answer: Inner Child and Empowerment Coaching is a safe and gentle way to help people feel better, especially when it’s done by someone trained to guide you with care.


There’s no medicine, no needles, and nothing that happens to your body. It’s all about using your thoughts, feelings, and imagination in a helpful way.


You can also do this kind of coaching while still seeing a doctor, therapist, or using other health treatments. It’s just another way to support your healing and growth.

What Issues Can Your Coaching Help With?

Answer:  My coaching can help with many things that people go through.


It can help if you’re feeling nervous or stressed, if you don’t feel very good about yourself, or if you’re scared of certain things.


It can also help if you have trouble sleeping, feel really sad, deal with pain, or want support in letting go of habits like smoking or making healthier choices like losing weight.


Everyone’s journey is different, and we work together to find what helps you feel better and more in control..

 How Many Coaching Sessions Will I Need?

Answer:  The number of coaching sessions you need depends on you and what you’re working through.


Some people start feeling better after just a few sessions, while others might need more time—and that’s totally okay. Most people have between 3 to 10 sessions.


My biggest goal is to help you learn tools that you can use on your own, so that over time, you become your own best coach.

What Happens during a Coaching Session?

Answer: A typical session starts with us talking about what you want help with.


Then, I’ll guide you through a calming exercise to help you relax. After that, I’ll share ideas and tools that match what you are working toward.


Remember, we’re a team—this is something we do together, and your voice matters every step of the way..

Can Your Coaching Replace Medical Treatment?

Answer: No, my coaching isn’t meant to replace medical care.


It’s not a substitute for seeing a doctor or getting the treatment you need—but it can be a helpful addition to your overall care.


If you have any medical issues, it’s really important to talk to a healthcare provider first. And be sure to let them know if you’re trying something new—like coaching—so everything works together in a safe and supportive way.

How Do I Prepare for a Coaching Session?

Answer: To get ready for your session, find a quiet and cozy spot where you feel safe and comfortable.


Think about what you’d like to focus on or talk about. Be ready to relax and pay attention to your thoughts and feelings.


It also helps to avoid drinks or snacks with caffeine—like coffee, energy drinks, or soda—before we start, so your body and mind can stay calm and focused.

Do you accept insurance?

Answer: If you’d like to see if your health insurance will help pay for my services, you can contact your healthcare provider to ask.


Let them know that the billing code for hypnosis/hypnotherapy is CPT 90880 and my NPI (National Provider Number) is 1881429116.


You can also ask if they would accept an invoice from me for the sessions. It’s always a good idea to check, as coverage can be different depending on your plan.
