At Pathway to Empowerment with Jai, my mission is to create liberatory spaces where historically marginalized individuals—especially Women of Color—can reconnect with their inner truth, heal generational wounds, and reclaim their power. Through a decolonized approach to hypnotherapy, coaching, and education, I offer transformative tools that honor the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and culture. It’s a trauma-informed, intuitive, and soul-nourishing process I’ve developed to help my clients—particularly historically minoritized women—navigate the intricate terrain of their inner world. Whether you're working through anxiety, grief, imposter syndrome, internalized oppression, or simply trying to reconnect with your authentic self, this approach gently leads you back home.

Much like a GPS recalculates your route when you’ve taken a detour, my process meets you exactly where you are—without judgment or shame—and helps you find the next best step forward.


At the heart of my work is the belief that you already have the answers. My role is to help you access them by tuning into your subconscious, honoring your inner child, and listening to the messages your body and spirit have been trying to share with you all along.

What is it?

  • Answer: Inner Child and Empowerment Coaching is a special method where you relax deeply and concentrate so much that you reach a super focused and aware state, kind of like being in a dream without being asleep. When you're in this state, you can look inside yourself to find and use your inner strengths and abilities to make changes or take charge of parts of your life.

 How Does it Work?

  • Answer: Inner Child and Empowerment Coaching helps you reach a part of your mind that's usually not in focus, where you're more open to new ideas and deep thoughts. With the help of a coach who knows how to guide you, you can discover thoughts, feelings, and memories you might not usually think about. This can help you work through personal problems, change certain behaviors, or heal emotionally.  

Can Anyone Participate?

  • Answer: Almost anyone can try it and get something good out of it if they're ready and willing to go through the process. The most important part is being open and ready for the experience. It's all about working together, and how much it helps depends a lot on whether the person is willing to join in and try.

 If The Process is Like Being in a Dream, Does that Mean I'm Asleep?

  • Answer: Some people think that when you're in a relaxed state, you're asleep or not in control of what you do, like someone could make you do things you don't want to. But that's not true. You're actually in control the whole time. Doing inner child and empowerment work and using your imagination is something you choose to do, and nobody can make you imagine things or do things that you feel are wrong.

 Is it Safe?

  • Answer: Inner Child and Empowerment Coaching is a safe way to help people feel better when it's done by a coach who knows what they're doing. It doesn't involve any physical procedures and it can often be used along with other regular health treatments 

What Issues Can Your Coaching Help With?

  • Answer:  My coaching techniques can help with many problems like feeling nervous or stressed, low self-esteem, being scared of specific things, having trouble sleeping, feeling really sad, dealing with pain, and stopping habits like smoking or helping with losing weight.

 How Many Coaching Sessions Will I Need?

  • Answer:  How many coaching sessions you need can change based on you and what you're working on. Some people start feeling better after just a few times, but others might need more. Usually, you might have between 3 to 10 sessions. My main aim is to teach you ways to help yourself so eventually, you can become your own best coach! 

What Happens during a Coaching Session?

  • Answer: A usual session starts with us talking about what you want to get out of your Coaching. Then, I'll help you relax and give you advice that fits what you're aiming for. Remember, we're working together as a team.

Can Your Coaching Replace Medical Treatment?

  • Answer: No. My Coaching is not a substitute for medical treatment but can be an effective complement to medical care. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider for any medical issues and inform them of your use of anything outside of any treatment plan that you are on.   

How Do I Prepare for a Coaching Session?

  • Answer: To get ready, make sure you're in a cozy spot and know what you want to work on. Be prepared to concentrate and chill out. It's also a good idea to skip drinks or foods with caffeine before we start.

Do you accept insurance?

  • Answer: Contact your health care provider to see if they will reimburse you for my services. The billing code for hypnosis/hypnotherapy is CPT 90880 and my NPI (National Provider Number) is 1881429116. Or, you can also ask if they will accept an invoice for my services.
