Workshop Description:
We all carry stories, some whispered, some silenced, and some still waiting to be heard. A Cup of Noodles is more than a workbook; it’s a movement of inner child reclamation rooted in love, liberation, and radical self-compassion. This workshop invites you into a sacred space where healing meets storytelling, and heart work replaces hard work.
Guided by Dr. Jaimis “Jai” Ulrich, this deeply experiential workshop draws from the pages of her transformative book, A Cup of Noodles: My Journey, Their Stories, Your Inner Child, blending guided meditation, creative expression, and decolonized empowerment practices to help you reconnect with the child within—the one who still longs to be seen, held, and heard.
Participants will:
- Engage in storytelling rituals that honor the complexities of childhood and cultural identity
- Explore visualization and guided hypnosis to reparent and reconnect with the inner child
- Examine internalized oppression and how it shapes self-worth, perfectionism, and belonging
- Learn tools for cultivating emotional authenticity, play, and joy as liberation practices
- Share in collective healing through a heart-centered, trauma-informed community circle
This workshop centers BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and other historically marginalized voices. All are welcome who are ready to show up with curiosity, care, and the courage to heal.
Who this is for:
Educators, healers, artists, survivors, truth-tellers, and everyday humans navigating the sacred messiness of being. No prior experience with inner child work or hypnosis is necessary.

Workshop Description:
Healing is not a return. It’s a revolution.
This workshop, rooted in the powerful framework of Healing Forward: A Liberation Practice for All of Us, offers participants an opportunity to reclaim their healing on their own terms, beyond systems that pathologize, commodify, or deny our wholeness.
In this immersive, heart-centered space, we move from coping to conscious liberation. Through decolonized hypnotherapy, radical reflection, and collective storytelling, we’ll unearth what healing really means when shaped by ancestral wisdom, community care, and deep self-trust.
Together, we will:
- Explore healing as an embodied, political, and spiritual act of resistance
- Engage in liberatory inner work through guided meditation and visualization
- Practice tools to dismantle internalized oppression, perfectionism, and performative “wellness”
- Build a justice-rooted healing practice that centers collective liberation over individual escape
- Learn how to “heal forward” with intention, joy, accountability, and imagination
Healing Forward is not a one-size-fits-all blueprint. It’s an invitation to reimagine what it means to be whole while living in systems that benefit from our fragmentation.
